Every year I get more and more opportunities to travel to the Outer Banks, NC and I get more excited each time I find out. Typically, I go once in the early summer with my whole family for a week and once in the late summer with my BF's whole family for a week. Now I am booking weddings, engagement sessions, family sessions, you name it in one of my favorite towns.

Jockeys Ridge is by far one of my favorite spots in OBX because it's literally an adventure photographers playground. Ive been to the huge sand dunes on the west coast that rival real deserts, and Jockeys Ridge is waterfront mini version of those. The beauty of these massive dunes for sessions is that they are pretty much a blank slate. With a location like this, the epic-ness of the sand mountains makes it easy to focus on my couples and their love.
